Transcol Interior Fine Coat Plaster

Dry mortar used for creating fine-textured or troweled coatings for interior walls and ceilings.

Substrate

Apply on ceramic brick masonry, cement blocks and concrete.

It should be applied on a flat and regular surface, correcting it if necessary.

If the surface is too dry, lightly moisten it 20 minutes before application or, in specific cases, apply a surface regulator and/or in cases of surfaces of different nature, apply Transcol Parget.

Application Method

The mixture can be prepared manually, using a concrete mixer or a mixing machine.

Mix the contents of the 25 kg bag with approximately 3.75 to 4 liters of clean water until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained.

Once mixed, the mortar must be applied within 30 minutes without adding more water after mixing.

Spread the mortar evenly in a layer of 15 to 20 mm thickness.

For fillings greater than 20 mm, apply in two layers, both with similar thicknesses, ensuring the lower layer has already set.

After application, level the surface with a straightedge, and depending on the desired finish, you can use a trowel for ceramic coatings, ornamental stone, thick coatings, and/or sponge for a smooth painting finish. For a smooth finish, apply tinning paste on the surface, either when the plaster is slightly damp or dry.

The curing time for Transcol Interior Grey Fine Coat Plaster is 28 days, and it does not replace painting.

Safety

It is recommended to use a dust mask to protect the respirable crystalline silica, goggles and gloves when handling the product. If there is contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not ingest.
