Transcol RD11 Revdecor Grey
Hydrofuged mortar, with high mechanical strength and water penetration resistance, used for thin coating finishes in thermal insulation systems, in facades and interior and exterior walls.
Substrate
Apply on dry plasters that are over 14 days old.
If the substrate is exposed to intense sun, lightly moisten the surface 20 minutes before application.
Application Method
The mixture can be made manually, using a concrete mixer or machine.
Mix the contents of the 25 Kg bag with approximately 5 liters of clean water until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is obtained.
Once mixed, the mortar must be applied within the next 30 minutes, without adding more water after mixing.
Apply with a trowel, spreading the mortar evenly in a layer that is never less than 5 mm thick. After 15 minutes, you can start the finishing process. However, depending on weather conditions, the setting time may vary. Use a trowel to smooth the mortar until you achieve a completely uniform and level surface.
Use a sponge to texture the mortar.
The finish will always be a fine texture, which, once fully dry, should be painted.
Safety
It is recommended to use a dust mask to protect the respirable crystalline silica, goggles and gloves when handling the product. If there is contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not ingest.
