Transcol Aquamembra
Hydrophobic, two-component, highly adhesive mortar designed for waterproofing water reservoirs, tanks, and swimming pools. Suitable for bathrooms, showers, and environments exposed to high humidity.

Substrate
Apply on cement, brick masonry, and concrete blocks.
For new substrates, wait at least 28 days after the application of concrete and screeds until they are fully stabilized and dry.
Do not apply on paint, plaster, or other special coatings. Verify that masonry surfaces have good adhesion and stability.
Otherwise, pre-treat the surface using water/sand blasting or brushing.
If adhesion is poor, apply Transcol Adere-P before Transcol Aquamembra.
Application Method
The mixture can be prepared using a concrete mixer or a low-speed mixing machine.
Gradually mix the 24 Kg bag with the aqueous mixture in the 10 Kg bucket until obtaining a homogeneous, lump-free paste.
Once mixed, the mortar must be applied within 20 minutes without adding more water after mixing.
Apply the mixture in a uniform layer with a thickness of 1 to 2 mm, using a roller or a metal trowel. Apply 2 to 3 layers in a cross pattern. Wait 24 to 48 hours between layers, and incorporate an alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh with a 2x2 mm or 4x4 mm grid.
After the waterproofing application, wait 7 days before performing the water-tightness test.
After this curing period, fill the structure with water for at least 72 hours to detect any potential application failures in the waterproofing layer.
Safety
It is recommended to use a dust mask to protect the respirable crystalline silica, goggles and gloves when handling the product. If there is contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not ingest.
