Transcol Restoration Consolidation
Hydrophobic lime-based mortar used for filling old walls and ceilings, suitable for exterior or interior coatings on materials such as stone, brick/adobe, and wattle and daub walls.
Substrate
Apply to exterior or interior coatings, such as stone, brick/adobe, and cob.
If the surface is exposed to intense sunlight, it should be lightly dampened 20 minutes before application, or in specific cases, a surface regulator can be applied.
Ensure the support is adequately moistened, so it is neither too dry nor too wet.
Application Method
The mixture can be prepared manually, using a concrete mixer or spray machine.
Mix the contents of the 25 Kg bag with approximately 3 to 4 liters of clean water until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, free of lumps.
Once mixed, the mortar should be applied within the next 30 minutes, without adding more water after mixing.
Apply in a single uniform layer, covering the entire wall or ceiling, with a minimum thickness of 1 cm.
After application, regularize the surface and wait 3 days before applying a finishing mortar.
Safety
It is recommended to use a dust mask to protect the respirable crystalline silica, goggles and gloves when handling the product. If there is contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not ingest.
