Transcol Tin Mortar
Micronized cement-based mortar for troweled finishes over plaster. Suitable for interior applications on walls, ceilings, and new plaster substrates, providing smooth finishes.
Substrate
Used indoors, on fresh plaster surfaces that are sufficiently hardened and dry plaster.
If exposed to intense sunlight, lightly moisten the surface 20 minutes before application.
Do not apply on non-cementitious surfaces, walls, and ceilings with permanent water presence or leaks.
Application Method
The mixture can be made using a low-speed mixer.
Mix the content of the 20 Kg bag with 7 to 8 liters of clean water until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, free of lumps.
Once mixed, the mortar should be applied within 30 minutes. However, this time may vary depending on adverse weather conditions.
Do not apply mortar that has started to set.
Let it rest for 10 minutes before applying.
Apply with a spatula or trowel in the necessary layers to achieve the desired finish. Each layer should be applied as soon as the previous one has dried and hardened.
Safety
It is recommended to use a dust mask to protect the respirable crystalline silica, goggles and gloves when handling the product. If there is contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not ingest.
