Transcol Refractory
Refractory technical mortar resistant to high temperatures. Suitable for sealing joints, securing refractory bricks or elements, and masonry exposed to water containing acids or sulfates.
Substrate
To be applied in fireplaces or ovens.
The substrate must be firm, free of unstable parts, and properly cleaned.
Application Method
The mixture can be prepared manually, using a concrete mixer or mixing machine at low speed.
Mix the contents of the 25 Kg bag with approximately 3.75 to 4 liters of clean water until a homogeneous, lump-free paste is obtained. For the 5 Kg bucket, mix with approximately 1 liter of clean water.
Let the mixture rest for 2 minutes, then remix before applying.
Once mixed, the mortar must be applied within the next 30 minutes without adding more water after mixing.
Apply Transcol Refractory manually using a trowel or float.
Moisten the product during the first 24 hours.
Allow it to dry for at least 7 days before use.
Safety
It is recommended to use a dust mask to protect the respirable crystalline silica, goggles and gloves when handling the product. If there is contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not ingest.
