Transcol Fixrapid
Fast-setting technical mortar for quick repairs and installations. Suitable for fixing metal elements (brackets, hinges), pipes, or electrical boxes.
Substrate
Apply on cement, stone, brick masonry, and concrete block surfaces.
The surface should be firm, without unstable parts, clean, free of dust, grease, and oils.
The support should not be too dry or too damp, so it can be moistened before applying the product.
Application Method
The mixture can be prepared manually, using a concrete mixer or a mixing machine.
Mix the contents in small quantities with 20% water, gradually, until a homogeneous mixture, free of lumps, is obtained. For a small fixing job, use 500 grams of product for 1 dL of water.
Once mixed, the mortar should be applied within minutes since it dries quickly.
Do not add more water after mixing.
Apply the Transcol Fixrapid with a maximum thickness of 10 cm using a trowel, insert the element to be fixed, and press.
After application, the surface should be leveled, with an adjustment time of 10 minutes.
Safety
It is recommended to use a dust mask to protect the respirable crystalline silica, goggles and gloves when handling the product. If there is contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not ingest.
