Transcol Screed
Technical filling and leveling mortar for floors, providing a base for the subsequent application of ceramic tiles, wood or cork.
Substrate
Suitable for concrete floors.
The surface must be properly moistened to avoid being too dry or too wet.
When applied over old surfaces, a bonding agent such as Transcol Adere-P is required.
Application Method
The mixture can be prepared manually, using a concrete mixer or mixing machine.
Mix the 25 Kg bag with approximately 2.5 liters of clean water, until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is obtained.
Once mixed, the mortar must be applied within 30 minutes, without adding more water after mixing.
Apply Transcol Betonilha in a single, uniform layer, covering the entire floor with a thickness of 2 to 10 cm.
After application, the surface should be leveled. It can be walked on by site personnel after one day and withstand full traffic after seven days.
After application, wait three days before applying another mortar layer.
Safety
It is recommended to use a dust mask to protect the respirable crystalline silica, goggles and gloves when handling the product. If there is contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not ingest.
